On 3 March 2009 was signed in Milan, an important Memorandum of Understanding between the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana and the Association creadores de Moda de Espana, who signs an agreement of cooperation between the two chambers.
Presenti la Secretaria General Tecnica Ministerio de Cultura Conception Becerra, the Head of Culture of the Municipality of Milan, Massimiliano Finazzer Flory, Viceconsejero de la Cultura y Turismo de la Comunidad de Madrid Concha Guerra, Mario Boselli, president of the Chamber of Fashion and Modesto Lomba , President of Associacion creadores de Moda de Espana.

Boselli said: “Spain is the third country in Europe to create fashion with a chain of excellence ranging from textile, clothing and fashion, with signatures as Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, who also is a great stylist artist. It is a dynamic country with an area of fashion and quality performance. The agreement provides for regular meetings with the dialogue, to discuss five key issues: the international calendar, marks of origin, anti-counterfeiting, all’anoressia combat and training. The agreement is also a sign of optimism to counter this moment of crisis. ”
Loma continues: “This is a great opportunity for dialogue to strengthen the field of fashion in Europe between two countries of great cultural tradition and fashion.”
The meeting was also an opportunity to present the exhibition “Twelve dress for Milan” and “for the first time combining culture with fashion,” as the curator Concha Hernandez. The event, hosted by 4 March to 8 April at Cervantes sees the words of twelve great authors, from Gabriel Garcia Marquez to Miguel Delibes, talk to as many designers of the most interesting and visionary of Spain, such as Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, who created the clothes on display.
